We are happy to announce the successful completion of the Hydrosoft Desk software training for the next group of civil engineering students at Khwopa College of Engineering. This marks yet another milestone in our continued effort to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world engineering applications.
Hydrosoft Desk, our in-house hydropower design software, is designed to equip budding engineers with practical tools and skills necessary for modern hydropower project planning and analysis. The software covers essential modules such as hydrological data processing, layout planning, hydraulic calculations, and design optimization — all tailored for Nepal’s terrain and hydro potential.
Highlights of the Session:
-
Hands-on training with real-world datasets
-
Interactive Q&A sessions addressing core hydropower design concepts
-
Problem-solving approach to practical challenges faced in field design
-
Exposure to industry-level tools and project workflows
The participating students showed great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the session. Their active participation and eagerness to learn made the training experience highly productive and rewarding.
As the engineering landscape continues to evolve, tools like Hydrosoft Desk empower the next generation of civil engineers to step confidently into the world of hydropower development — a sector that holds immense promise for Nepal’s sustainable future.
We are grateful to Khwopa College of Engineering for their continued collaboration and look forward to more such impactful engagements in the days to come.
